Rosetta Trattoria Sydney

A good way to stay connected and find out what’s going on at your favourite restaurants is to subscribe to their newsletter.
We subscribe to many of them, one of our favourites being Neil Perry’s Rockpool Dining Group.

Rockpool Dining has over 60 restaurants and with three dining pillars to explore. Premium, Casual and Fun and Fast Dining. We are yet to explore all of them but hope to visit some more on our Mid-Life Fabulous Journey with you!

This week we visited Rosetta Trattoria, a sophisticated Italian Restaurant by chef Neil Perry featuring a range of classic and modern Italian Dishes located in Sydney’s CBD. The promotion of the month was Moet & Chandon Imperial Rose on the terrace. $90 per bottle served in pink Moet goblets. Who could resist pink champagne from a shiny pink goblet? We just had to go and check it out!

We both chose to take public transport on the day as parking in the CBD can be very expensive and we find it quite relaxing to hop on a bus or a ferry rather than battle traffic and parking.

On arrival we were escorted through the vast dining and open kitchen area out on to the rooftop terrace overlooking the city. It was so pretty! Pink Moet bottles and pink goblets adorned the bar area and we were sat at tables with pink cushions on the chairs, green succulents in pink pots and lovely big umbrellas to shade us from the hot midday sun.

Our perfectly chilled champagne arrived and was poured into our shiny pink goblets by our lovely obliging waiter, who was only too happy to let us film him and to take photos of or day.

It was a little hot being out on the terrace as it was a very hot day the day we went. We could have gone inside but we chose to stay outside as we loved the atmosphere out on the terrace.

For our meals, Tina chose the squid and ink risotto and I chose the Inferno pizza with chilli and salami. We both really enjoyed our selections and would eat here again. The service was great. The waiters were smiley and friendly, especially Andreas from Colombia who took the time to have a chat with us.
Overall it was a very enjoyable day out. We loved every bit of Rosetta Trattoria!

What we wore:
Rosetta is a fine dining restaurant, so we chose to wear smart casual attire.

Our choice of wardrobe for the day is Brisbane designer Sacha Drake. Sacha has a wonderful range of smart casual clothing using luxury jerseys and silks. Her clothing suits a wide range of body shapes and sizes.

Tina wears a Sacha Drake jersey dress and Django & Juliette shoes.
Simone wears Sacha Drake silk blouse and Florsheim shoes.
